Anesthesiology is specialty in medicine that is concerned with the patients care before, during and after a surgical procedure. It is normally referred as anesthesia, intensive care medicine, critical emergency medicine, and pain management. The objective is to safely support a patient’s vital functions through the preoperative period in the operating room till the shifting to intensive care unit.
